Austin, Texas Via My IPhone

Happy Monday! It's always nice to spend an entire weekend at home and I wish we were able to more often. I love not having anything planned and making things up along the way.

Friday night consisted of French 75s and not much else. And I never regretted a thing.

We finally made it over to the Harry Ransom Center on UT Campus to view the Gone With the Wind exhibit they currently have on display till February. If you live in Austin or are planning on coming to town before then, I highly suggest checking it out. They have several of Scarlett's dresses on display along with tons of pictures, inter-office memos, and other memorabilia. Did I mention the dresses? Following the exhibit and since the weather was amazing we headed down to South Congress to do some walking and browsing of the shops.

We stopped into Uncommon Objects where we found these great aerial maps from the 60's of both of our home counties. Chris hails from Karnes County while I resided in Refugio. Obviously we couldn't pass these up, it's always great to find hometown treasures when you least expect to.
