This is by far my favorite drink. I first had one when Chris and I ventured over to Justine's on the eastside and I've been hooked ever since. French 75's really are perfect for any occasion and time. Below is the recipe I like to follow when I make mine at home, but of course you can always edit the recipe to suit your own tastes. Cheers ya'll!

French 75 Recipe

  • 1 oz. gin
  • 1 oz. lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz. simple syrup*
  • 2 oz. champagne

Combine gin, lemon juice and simple syrup into a shaker filled with ice. Shake to combine, then strain mixture into flute and top with champagne. Give one stir and enjoy!

*Making your own simple syrup at home is super easy, all you have to do is in a small pan bring 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar to a boil, then stir till sugar dissolves. Let cool before using.

PS- Love glassware as much as me? Check out these lovelies here, here and here! You can also purchase the mason jar shaker seen above here. We bought the kit and just love using it to pieces!
