Sangria is one of my favorite things to drink no matter what time of year it is. It just seems like there's a recipe to suit the weather when it comes to that delicious fruity mixture. Typically, when we're at home Chris and I will make it glass by glass vs. an entire pitcher hence the need for juices instead of just letting the fruit slices marinate. What can I say, when I want sangria I want it NOW not in a few hours or days. Cheers ya'll!
- 1 cup red wine (I love the Cab. Sauvignon from Becker Vineyards!)
- 1/2 cup grapefruit juice
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- Fruits for slicing: anything you can get your hands on
Instructions: Place fruit slices at the bottom of glass and place ice in afterwards. Combine wine and juices into glass and give it a good stir. Then try not to suck it down too quickly!
