Sangria

Sangria is one of my favorite things to drink no matter what time of year it is. It just seems like there's a recipe to suit the weather when it comes to that delicious fruity mixture. Typically, when we're at home Chris and I will make it glass by glass vs. an entire pitcher hence the need for juices instead of just letting the fruit slices marinate. What can I say, when I want sangria I want it NOW not in a few hours or days. Cheers ya'll!

  • 1 cup red wine (I love the Cab. Sauvignon from Becker Vineyards!)
  • 1/2 cup grapefruit juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • Fruits for slicing: anything you can get your hands on

Instructions: Place fruit slices at the bottom of glass and place ice in afterwards. Combine wine and juices into glass and give it a good stir. Then try not to suck it down too quickly!

PS: you can find the amazing cocktail book seen in these pictures HERE. Shake is one of my favorites to thumb through for new drinks because they're so easy to duplicate and I typically have a lot of their ingredients on hand already!
