Do you ever feel just drawn to a place for no particular reason? That's how I feel about New Orleans. I've visited this vibrant Louisiana city quite a few times (all post Katrina) and could easily go a few more times. There's always something new to explore or discover down there and you never have the same adventure twice.

I'm not entirely sure why I feel so drawn to it. Sure, New Orleans hosts all of my favorite things: food, beautiful architecture and music, but surely there must be another reason for the longing. The quote pictured above from John Goodman is a perfect assessment of my love for the place. When you arrive, either you get it or you don't. And for me, oh I totally got it.

You can find all of these images and more with their respected sources citied HERE.

I'm currently in the process of planning a weekend summer getaway, any places I need to add to my list?
