5 Ingredients + 3 Cocktails

5 Ingredients + 3 Cocktails

Hey ya'll! I'm here today to share 3 different cocktails you can make using 5 bar ingredients you may already have in your home set up! While I love going out and getting a complicated fancy cocktail made with stuff I've never even heard of, I actually look for the complete opposite of that in the drinks I make myself at home. Simplicity is key around here and we love finding new (and old) ways to mix up cocktails with a few key pieces!

Few Spirits Bourbon
  1. Bourbon is king in our household and there's nothing finer than Few Spirits Bourbon Whiskey. It is perfect for making a killer cocktail or just drinking straight up which is key in my opinion. Plus, their bottles will look beautiful sitting atop your bar. You can browse their website and check out their other libations (including my second favorite...gin!) here.
  2. Citrus is another thing we almost always have on hand. It adds a little extra something to any drink it seems!
  3. Is there anything more versatile than simple syrup? While I love making my own at times (like this rosemary one), I also love having a bottle of Liber & Co. Gum Syrup on hand as well.
  4. Bitters is another versatile classic. A lot of recipes will call for Angostura, though I prefer the floral notes of Peychaud's.
  5. And finally cherries. Up until a few months ago, this wasn't exactly a staple in our household, but it has more than made up for it since! We use them so much it's a little ridiculous. People will tell you to grab the Luxardo cherries and those people are right, but there's some great alternatives out there that are a little easier on the wallet.
