Bainbridge Island, WA
Happy Friday ya'll! Today I'm sharing a few words about one of my favorite parts of our Seattle trip this past month...taking the ferry to Bainbridge Island!
We took the $8 round trip ferry ride to Bainbridge Island Sunday morning. Honestly, I probably would've paid the $8 to ride the ferry even if we weren't planning on doing anything on the island that day, it was an amazing way to view the city and landscape. The whole trip took about 30 minutes over and drops you off fairly close to the main strip where tons of shops and food await. This was perfect since we were carless during our stay and could just walk directly into town instead of trying to Uber or figure out a way there. We had so much fun browsing the local shops as well as walking the trail along the water. I'm seriously in awe of the beauty in Washington state, I'd love to go back and explore the natural side of it more soon.
For lunch, we popped into a place that Chris had found called The Harbour Public House. The food + views were absolutely amazing and I believe we had the best seat in the whole house. Shortly after lunch, we made our way back to the ferry to head back to the city.
